SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police are investigating a shooting in the Burnside area of Sioux Falls this afternoon.
Police say four black men entered a trailer house in the 500 block of North Starlight Place about 3:15 p.m.
Officer Sam Clemens briefed the media at an impromptu news conference.
He says there were people men in the trailer.
One of them got a gun and shot one of the four people who intruded.
Police say the four got into a red car and then dropped off the man who was shot at a hospital.
Clemens said they did not know the condition of the man who was shot.
The authorities don’t know if the victims and the men who entered the mobile home know each other or not.
The police are still looking for the three men in the red car.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: On Tuesday, August 11th, around 3:15 p.m., two men were inside a trailer home in the 500 block of North Starlite Place when four other men burst into the home. At least one of the four was armed with a handgun. One of the occupants fired a handgun at the suspects, and all four men fled in a red car.
A short time later, a red car stopped at a hospital to drop off a man with a gunshot wound. The car then left with three people inside it. The man with the gunshot wound is believed to have been injured during the shooting on Starlite Place.
Officers are looking for the three other men and the red car. At this point, it is not known if there is a connection between the two groups, whether the house was targeted, or if it was a random crime.
