SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Here are some of the highlights of today’s Sioux Falls Police briefing.
RUFFIANS ATTACK GIRL FOR HER CELL PHONE
A little girl out walking her dog tells Sioux Falls police that she was roughed up by a group of four or five men.
The nine-year-old claims they pulled up in an SUV, demanded her cell phone and when she refused, they pushed her to the ground and took the phone.
This was near the intersection of South Sertoma and West 26th Street.
POLICE SUSPECT ARSON IN STORAGE UNIT FIRE
Sioux Falls Police suspect arson in a storage unit fire last night (Tuesday).
The fire occurred about 8 p.m. in the 3600 block of West Team Drive.
It took about 45 minutes to put out the fire.
Police are now investigating.
TWO MEN KNOCK OVER A CASINO
Two masked men entered a Sioux Falls casino this morning, but the masks weren’t for COVID-19 protection.
Police say it was an armed robbery at the Burnside Game Place.
They took the cash. Nobody hurt.
