SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — High heat and zero visibility during a storage unit fire Tuesday night made it difficult for Sioux Falls Fire Rescue to find the source.
At 8 pm last night a fire was reported at the storage units in the 3600 block of West Teem Drive.
The large amount of smoke and the layout of the building made the fire difficult to find. The fire was located in several interior storage units. Crews encountered high heat and zero visibility conditions. It took approximately forty-five minutes to extinguish the fire.
There were no injuries reported from either civilians or responders. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
