PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) — The South Dakota Department of Health reports two new deaths from the coronavirus.
The state’s death toll now stands at 111.
There were 80 new positive cases for a total of 7,652.
64 South Dakotans recovered for a total of 6,663.
59 people are currently hospitalized, a decrease of three from yesterday. 752 South Dakotans have been hospitalized over the course of the pandemic, an increase of eight.
There are 878 active cases, an increase of 14 cases from yesterday.
The daily rate of cases is 102 per 100,000, an increase of seven from yesterday. The rate over the history of the pandemic is 872 per 100,000, an increase of eight from yesterday.
The 14-day case trend daily average is down 16 cases per day, from 70 two weeks ago to 54 today.
