VOLGA, S.D. (KELO.com) — Ahead of one of the biggest grilling days in summer, a thief is lurking around the Volga area making for a very unhappy Fourth of July.
The thief is taking parts of grills and leaving the rest for the owner.

Reported: Wednesday, 07/01/20 @ 1040 Location: 100 Blk of Adams Ave. (Volga, SD).
On the above date and time, a Volga resident reported damage to the hood of their Charbroil grill and two grates stolen from the grill. It was found that the suspect or suspects entered the back yard through a 4-foot tall chain-link fence and onto the back deck where the grill is kept. The incident occurred sometime between Wednesday, 06/24/20 in the evening until it was noticed on Wednesday, 07/01/20. The cost to repair the grill and replace the grates is estimated at $90.00.
