CUSTER STATE PARK, S.D. (KELO.com) — Firefighters are working to control an active wildfire at Custer State Park.
The governor’s office says as of 8 p.m. MT Wednesday evening, the fire is estimated at 150 acres.
According to Custer State Park Social Media, the fire is an estimated 15-20 acres in size and heading northwest from the park shop near Highway 16A.
No park structures or public areas are being threatened at this time.
