PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) — The South Dakota Department of Health reports 81 new coronavirus cases and 1 death.
That put’s the death toll at 69 and the total number of positive cases at 5,604.
Another 90 South Dakotans have recovered, for a total of 4,573.
There are currently 101 people in the hospital, an increase of 11.
503 people have been hospitalized over the course of the pandemic, an increase of 16.
Minnehaha County has the most cases, at 3,430, the most in the state. Lincoln County has 258 cases.
