MITCHELL, S.D. (KELO.com) — It looks like the 25th Dakotafest will have to wait a least a year.
Mitchell CVB Director Sonya Moller says she got the word today.
She says the CVB has been in contact with Dakotafest on a weekly basis.
Moller says Dakotafest is planning some virtual events that can be accessed on its website.
She says the CVB understands Dakotafest’s decision to cancel for this year and remains dedicated to working with the organization to sure next year’s event is the best ever.
Dakotafest is located just southeast of Mitchell on the south side of I-90.
