SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A motorcycle driver receives life-threatening injuries in crash with a vehicle Wednesday afternoon in Sioux Falls.
Sioux Falls Police responded to an injury crash involving a motorcycle and a car at 1:43 yesterday afternoon at S. Summit Avenue and W. 27th Street.
The motorcycle was northbound on Summit Ave and the car was westbound on 27th St. The vehicles collided in the intersection and the driver of the motorcycle was thrown from the bike.
The injuries to the driver of the motorcycle are considered life-threatening.
The motorcycle was driven by a 29-year-old male and the vehicle by an 84-year-old-female.
The intersection of Summit Ave & 27th St was closed for approximately 3 hours while the crash scene was processed.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: On June 3, 2020 at 1:43 p.m., the Sioux Falls Police Department responded to S. Summit Ave and W. 27th St for an injury crash that involved a motorcycle and a car. The involved vehicles were found to be a 2016 Kawasaki Ninja being driven by a 29-year-old male and a 2005 Subaru Legacy being driven by an 84-year-old-female. The motorcycle was northbound on Summit Ave and the car was westbound on 27th St. The vehicles collided in the intersection and the driver of the motorcycle was thrown from the bike. The injuries to the driver of the motorcycle are considered life-threatening. The investigation of the crash is ongoing.
