SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Election officials have released the first batch of results in Sioux Falls’ city and school board elections.
Both city council races appear to be close with 21% of precincts reporting.
Alex Jensen leads incumbent Theresa Stehly in the at-large race 55% to 45%.
Greg Neitzert leads challenger Julian Beaudion 53% to 47%.
School Board President Cynthia Mickelson has a big lead over Sarah Stokke, 68% to 32%.
The returns only account for in-person ballots, rather than mail-in votes.
