SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
Lane Closure – 49th Street
Beginning on Friday, May 22, 2020, the outside westbound lane of West 49th Street will be closed at Louise Avenue to approximately 500 feet west of Solberg Avenue.
Elliott Construction will be performing utility work.
This work is anticipated to be complete by the end of the day on May 29, 2020.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Street Closure – Marion Road
Beginning on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, work will begin to install a new water main at North Marion Road and 54th Street North. Marion Road from the south side of University Trail through 54th Street North will be closed to traffic. Traffic will be detoured to 60th Street North, Career Avenue, and Benson Road. Traffic control will be in place
This work is anticipated to be complete in ten working days.
