The South Dakota High School Activities Association’s football advisory committee on Wednesday passed a motion to create a new committee of 15 coaches and administrators who will help decide if and how the number of classes in high school football will be cut from 7 to 5.
Assistant executive director John Krogstrand told KWSN’s “Sports Talk with Craig and John” that although discussion has been going on for years about the reduction, it is almost inevitable that at least one 9-man class will be contracted soon.
But what is more likely — to have two of the three nine-man classes chopped, or to have one 9-man and one 11-man class cut?
