SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
Lane Closure – Minnesota Avenue
Beginning on Thursday, April 30, 2020, the outside southbound lane of North Minnesota Avenue will be closed between Fourth Street and Fifth Street.
MidAmerican Energy will be performing utility work.
This work is anticipated to be complete by the end of the day on May 2, 2020.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closures – 12th Street
Beginning on Thursday, April 30, 2020, the eastbound and westbound outside lanes of the West 12th Street Bridge over the Big Sioux River will be closed east of Lyon Boulevard. One lane in each direction will be maintained at all times throughout the project.
Crews will be performing bridge maintenance work. After the work in the outside lanes are complete, the lane closure will shift to the eastbound and westbound inside lanes and center turn lane.
This work is anticipated to be complete by mid-June.

Lane Closure – Indian Mound Drive
Beginning on Thursday morning, April 30, 2020, Indian Mound Drive will be reduced to one lane of traffic from South Kiwanis Avenue to West 22nd Street.
Dakotaland Sod will be installing new curb and gutter.
This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately one week.
