SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — 11 residents and three staff members at the Touchmark at All Saints senior living community in Sioux Falls have tested positive for COVID-19, according to a statement from the facility Monday.
The facility said it is “meticulously following guidelines” from government agencies to manage the virus. It has quarantined residents in their individual homes, ending group activities and communal dining and only allowing “essential workers” into the community.
Seniors over the age of 65 in the Sioux Falls area remain subject to a stay at home order from Gov. Kristi Noem. Noem extended that order Friday; it remains in effect through May 11.
Touchmark’s statement said “staff and resident morale and spirits remain high.”
