SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Fire Rescue had a busy night and early morning extinguishing house and apartment fires.
Around 10:30 last night, SFFR responded to a house fire in the 700 block of South Plucker Place. Firefighters believe the fire started in a bedroom. No one was hurt.
Just before 4 a.m., SFFR responded to another house fire, this one near 10th Street and Euclid Avenue. Firefighters believe the fire started on the deck. There were no injures.
Then at about 6 a.m., SFFR responded to an apartment fire in the 700 block of West Rice Street. Firefighters saw thick some coming from the front door of the building. The fire was in a hallway on the first floor. No one was hurt. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
