SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Here are the latest coronavirus cases in South Dakota according to the state department of health.
A total of 1,755 people have tested positive, an increase of 70 since yesterday.
Deaths increased by 1 to eight.
The death was in Minnehaha County.
824 people have recovered.
Minnehaha County has 1,499 cases, up 65.
Lincoln County has 99 cases, up four.
The department of health says 761 of the state’s cases of coronavirus cases arise from Smithfield workers.
Another 143 are from friends and family of Smithfield workers.
