SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Below is a statement from Lewis Drug on the South Dakota Health Department’s report that one of their employees at their 37th and Minnesota store was working while positive for coronavirus.

Lewis Drug’s primary concern is the safety of its team members, patients and community. To that effect, Lewis Drug has followed all guidelines established by the Center for Disease Control as it relates to workplace and patient safety. On Wednesday, April 8, a Lewis Drug team member that last worked at the Lewis Drug location at 37th Street and Minnesota Avenue in Sioux Falls on Monday, April 6 tested positive for the Covid-19 virus. All Lewis Drug team members that had contact with this individual were immediately asked to self-quarantine by the Public Health Department. Several team members have since been tested and they are negative for Covid-19.
