SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Pride’s annual festival and parade has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Quinn Kathner, the organization’s president, said the decision was “for the safety of all of our community members” in an announcement on Facebook.
Sioux Falls Pride held its first-ever parade in June of 2019. Kathner said the group is already looking at alternate dates for the 2020 event.
“Our community is extremely resilient,” Kathner said. “We are going to come out of this stronger than ever.”
