SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
Lane Closure – West 41st Street
Beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, the eastbound outside lane of West 41st Street will be closed at Norton Avenue.
Xcel Energy will be performing utility work and is anticipated to be completed by noon on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closures – East 41st Street
Beginning on Thursday, April 2, 2020, construction crews will begin saw cutting for curb and gutter repairs along East 41st Street from South Bahnson Avenue to South Sycamore Avenue.
Both lanes of traffic will remain open however, drivers may experience slowed traffic and slight delays.
The repairs along 41st Street are anticipated to be completed by mid-April.

Lane Closure – South Grange Avenue
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, April 6, 2020, the southbound lane of Grange Avenue will be closed at 18th Street to the south for approximately 250 feet. Southbound traffic will be shifted into the northbound left-turn lane.
ARS will be performing roof work and is anticipated to be completed by the end of the day on May 6, 2020.

Street Closure – Western Avenue from
Sixth Street to Ninth Street
Beginning on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, North Western Avenue from Sixth Street to Ninth Street will be closed to allow construction crews to perform sanitary sewer improvements. Traffic will be detoured to Kiwanis Avenue and West Avenue via Tenth Street and Burnside Street. Local access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
Weather permitting the work is expected to take 2 to 3 weeks.
