SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
Street Closure – Fourth Street
Beginning on Monday, March 30, 2020, West Fourth Street from Minnesota Avenue to Main Avenue will be closed to thru traffic, however, it will be open to the Law Enforcement Center. Also, construction will begin on Main Avenue at Fourth Street. Traffic will be maintained on Main Avenue, however, expect a lane shift.
Work will include utility replacement, new concrete pavement, sidewalk, and streetscape elements.
This work is anticipated to be complete by July 1, 2020.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Intersection Closures –
33rd Street and Minnesota
Beginning at 9:00 am on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, the outside westbound lane of West 33rd Street will be closed from Dakota Avenue to Minnesota Avenue. The southbound right turn lane on Minnesota Avenue at 33rd Street will be closed, as well as the northbound outside lane of Minnesota Avenue will be closed at 33rd Street. Minnesota Avenue will be maintained with at least one lane of traffic in each direction.
Utility Mapping Services, Inc. will be performing utility locates
