SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — South Dakota is holding steady with 11 confirmed Covid-19 cases, but cases have jumped in Iowa and Minnesota.
There were 29 cases reported in Iowa on Wednesday, an increase of six.
Minnesota comes in at 77 confirmed cases, a jump of 17.
The state health department websites try to post daily updates.
Governor Kristi Noem says that there has been no ‘community spread’ in South Dakota yet. The state has the details of each of the 11 cases. In a community spread situation, cases are coming in that can’t be individually tracked, making it more difficult to control the spread.
