Hello Sioux Falls School District Staff and Families.
Earlier today, Governor Kristi Noem asked all K-12 public schools in South Dakota to close next week due to coronavirus. All Sioux Falls Schools will be closed Monday through Wednesday of next week. Please remember that Thursday and Friday were already scheduled vacation days.
Middle and High School students who are assigned a Chromebook are bringing their devices and chargers home today in the event of a long-term closure.
Please know we have been working with medical information from the CDC, Sanford, Avera, and City of Sioux Falls Health officials. All have been tremendous partners in these uncertain times. We will continue to communicate updates, as necessary.
At the moment, we anticipate seeing all students and staff back in school on Monday, March 23rd.
