SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Another competition is brewing with the 4th Annual Downtown Mash Madness presented by Downtown Sioux Falls, Inc. (DTSF). Five breweries will compete with specially-crafted beers only available starting March 6, 2020, through March 22, 2020.
New this year, Mash Madness fans can use the official DTSF Digital Passport app to rate each brew based on Aroma, Balance of Taste & Flavor, Creativity, Would You Order This Beer Again, and Overall Brewery Experience & Service. The brewery with the highest average score by March 22 will be the 2020 Mash Madness Champion. After voting, participants can earn stamps, points, and can share their progress to social media.
“A friendly competition in downtown featuring the craft brew scene is a great way to showcase the talent of the local brewers and increase foot traffic to downtown during a slower time of the year. We hope people take part in Mash Madness and also enjoy the other unique amenities that downtown Sioux Falls has to offer.” said Community Outreach Coordinator Sadie Swier
The winning brewery will receive bragging rights for a full year, and a traveling trophy.
