SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — “Since we can’t recycle plastic bags anymore, what should I do with them?”
As a reminder, in Sioux Falls and the surrounding counties, plastic bags should not go in the recycling bin. If they are placed in the recycling bin, it can cause problems for haulers and recycling facilities.
Plastic bags can be taken to some grocery and department stores that offer recycling, or put them in the trash.
You can also be more sustainable by reusing bags as much as possible and remembering to bring your own bag.
