SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Jaws Of Life were very busy in Sioux Falls last night, as were Sioux Falls Fire Rescue, the Sioux Falls Police Department, and Paramedics Plus.
About 3 1/2 hours after the 3-car fatal crash at 26th and Minnesota that required the use of the Jaws of Life, 26 firemen, numerous police and paramedics…. emergency officials were then called to another severe crash…this one at W. Madison at N. Kiwanis, at about 2:30 am.
The first emergency crew to arrive confirmed that the Jaws Of Life were needed to extricate a person injured in the 2-car collision.
We have no word on injuries in the second crash, but officials put out the reminder not to overdrive the conditions in the news releases sent about both incidents. The roads were slick last night and many of them are still slick on Saturday.
