SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Fire Rescue is investigating a residential fire last night.
The fire occurred about 8:30 last night at 1412 S. Riverdale Road.
Authorities believe the fire started in the basement.
No one was hurt.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at approximately 8:32 PM on the evening of February 11th. First responding units spoke with a homeowner who indicated there was a fire in the basement. This was confirmed by fire crews and fire suppression activities ensued. The fire was extinguished with minimal water in less than 5 minutes. No occupants or animals were found in the structure and no civilian or responder injuries occurred during operations. Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded with 4 fire trucks and 3 support vehicles with a total of 16 people. Sioux Falls Fire Rescue would like to thank Sioux Falls Police Department, Patient Care EMS, Xcel Energy, and MidAmerican energy for their assistance.
