SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The historic Washington Pavilion in downtown Sioux Falls is a beautiful building, but beauty costs.
The city wants to replace the aging parapets and cornices along the roof for a total price tag of up to $7 million.
The old terra cotta pieces will be replaced with fiberglass to match the historic look.
City Council was being briefed at the Tuesday informational meeting. Council will be asked to approve about $355,000 to start the design work.
