SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
57th Street and Solberg Avenue
Traffic Signals
Beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020, work will begin to turn on the permanent traffic signals at the intersection of 57th Street and Solberg Avenue.
The temporary signals and new signals will be in flash mode until the existing signal heads can be removed. Work is intended to be completed by the end of the day.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Street Closure – South Phillips Avenue from
17th Street to 18th Street
Beginning immediately today, February 4, 2020, Public Works crews are repairing a water main break on Phillips Avenue from 17th Street to 18th Street. From 14th Street to 18th Street no thru traffic is allowed but local residents are able to get to their homes.
A completion date and time is not determined at this time due to the damage that occurred.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
