SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Sioux Falls man sits in jail on a number of charges arising from a high-speed chase, a foot chase, and an attempted break-in into a house early this morning (Tuesday).
Sioux Falls Police say Eric James Lamont, 40, was pulled over on suspicion of having outstanding warrants.
Lamont took off at a high rate of speed.
Officers did not pursue.
Police then got a call about a man trying to break into a house in the 300 block of North Suncrest Road.
The authorities arrested Lamont on charges including eluding and first-degree burglary.
