SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Sioux Falls man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for distributing fentanyl and injuring a witness.
Authorities say Jacob Lottman, 27, sold fentanyl to another Sioux Falls man who later overdosed on the drug. First responders gave the victim a lifesaving dose of Naloxone, commonly known as Narcan.
On top of the 25-year drug sentence, Lottman was sentenced to another five years for beating a witness who had reported to law enforcement, along with two other people.
Lottman was arrested in 2018; he has faced charges linking him to multiple overdoses.
