SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police revived a man yesterday with a shot of NARCAN.
NARCAN is a medication designed to rapidly reverse an opioid overdose.
The man overdosed on drugs.
Police revived him.

Officer Sam Clemens says it happens more often than you mike think.
“I think this is a really good example of why all officers carry Narcan,” This is something that we started a few years ago and actually, it gets used on a pretty regular basis.”
Clemens says Fire Rescue and the ambulance service also carry Narcan.
“Just having the officers have that available to them, can really bring somebody back,” Clemens said. “It can end up saving their life”.
