SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Police are investigating the first robbery of 2020 in Sioux Falls.
Sioux Falls police responded to a report of a robbery at Dollar General on W. 12th Street at 9:15 Thursday evening.
The suspect entered wearing a mask and threatening employees with a weapon demanding money.
The suspect fled on foot southbound from the business.
The subject is described as a 30-year-old Native American male, 5’7”- 5’8”, 200 lbs., and wearing all black clothing.
There were no injuries and the investigation is on-going.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: On 1/2/20 around 9:15 p.m. Officers from the Sioux Falls Police Department responded to a report of a robbery in the area of W. 12th St. and S. La Mesa Drive. A subject entered a nearby business wearing a mask and threatened employees with a weapon while demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the subject fled southbound from the business. The subject is described as a 30 year old Native American male, 5’7”- 5’8”, 200 lbs., and wearing all black clothing. There were no injuries and the investigation is on-going.
