YANKTON, S.D. (KELO.com) —
FEMA mitigation specialists will soon be in Yankton offering advice on how to build
or rebuild structures that are more hazard-resistant, with proven methods that can
prevent or reduce damage from future disasters. The FEMA talks happen Monday
and Tuesday, December 30th and 31st and Thursday through Saturday, January
2nd through the 4th at Kopetsky’s Ace Hardware. This information is geared
toward do-it-yourself homeowners and general contractors. Recovery topics to
be covered include flood insurance, elevating utilities and rebuilding flooded
homes.
