SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — This year’s Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon was another big success.
A two-day fundraising effort for Sanford Children’s Hospital raised $278,509, an increase of over $1,300 from a year ago.
KELO-AM and its sister stations, including KELO-FM, KTWB, and KRRO, helped spread the word on Thursday and Friday, bringing some remarkable stories to light.
“We are so proud of you out there. Sioux Falls is such an amazing, giving community,” KELO-FM’s Andy Harris said shortly after the total was revealed. “It never ceases to amaze me how great Sioux Falls is.”
