SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Flags are at half-staff at the state capitol in Pierre through sundown Wednesday to honor former legislator Kermit Staggers, who died Thursday.
Staggers was a longtime member of the Sioux Falls City Council. The council honored Staggers with a moment of silence at the start of Tuesday’s meeting.
Staggers memorial was Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Sioux Falls.
