SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Last evening during the worst of the snowstorm, there was a head-on collision near the Grand Falls Casino on the South Dakota side.
The Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office says one of the drivers was over-driving the snowy and icy conditions about 6:20 p.m. and swerved into oncoming traffic.
Five people were injured. All were taken to a Sioux Falls hospital.
The accident happened on South Dakota Highway 42 near 485th Avenue.
