SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — After a mixed-bag morning, the weather will improve.
A band of snowfall on the back edge of the area of rainfall across northwest Iowa will continue to press eastward early this morning, followed by a period of less intense flurries or very light snowfall for a couple hours.
For the most part, spotty accumulations less than a half-inch will likely be limited to mainly grassy or elevated surfaces in parts of southwest MN and northern parts of northwest IA. Isolated slick spots are possible, especially for bridges as temperatures fall to near or a bit below freezing.
