WASHINGTON, D.C. (KELO.com) — Senator Mike Rounds says he doesn’t want to second guess Governor Kristi Noem’s anti-meth campaign approach.
The whole country seems to be talking about the slogan, “Meth. We’re On It.”
“I do not fault the governor for trying to find something new to bring attention to it. Whether or not it works will be the deciding factor on whether or not it’s successful.”
So Senator Rounds says let’s see if the new approach works to make an impact on the meth epidemic in South Dakota.
Rounds spearheaded an anti-meth campaign when he was governor with the slogan: “Meth Makes You Ugly.”
Meth was a problem then. It’s a bigger problem now.
