WASHINGTON (KELO.com) — While most attention in Washington is focused on the upcoming impeachment hearings in the House, the continuing resolution funding the federal government will run out before Thanksgiving.
Senator John Thune says another extension can be worked out. Thune says a continuing resolution has a heavy impact on the military.
He says Senate Democrats are holding up the budget.
Thune says the next CR will probably fund the government into late January.
