SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Tomorrow is a big meeting day in Sioux Falls.
All three major government bodies are meeting.
- The Minnehaha County Commission meets at 9 a.m. in the commission meeting room.
The commission will hear a report from emergency management on ambulance usage from April through September.
They also then consider an ordinance to hold a hearing on December 3 on licensing ambulances in the county.
They also authorize publishing a notice requesting proposals for electronic monitoring for county prisoners.
- The Sioux Falls School Board meets at 5:30 p.m. in the Instructional Planning Center.
They’ll consider approving the concession vendor at Howard Wood Field.
They hear a report on ACT and SAT test score results.
And they’ll consider approval of nearly $14 million for October’s payroll.

- The Sioux Falls City Council holds its informational meeting at 4 p.m. in the Carnegie Town Hall.
There will be reports on the Siouxland Heritage Museums and the Urbanized Development Commission.
The Council will hear presentations on light pole corrosion, an update on the 2020 city election, and more discussion on the downtown parking ramp.
- And at 7 p.m. the City Council holds its business meeting.
The main item will be consideration of appropriating another one and half million dollars from the parking fund to make the downtown parking garage usable.
The ramp was supposed to be one of the cornerstones of the Village on the River development that fell apart.
There’s also a supplemental appropriation of three million dollars for snow removal.
