SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Radio station callers, Pulse Point, and Google Traffic say there is a major traffic snarl on Interstate 229 southbound just east of the SD 115 (Minnesota Ave) exit and eastward until a mile or so south of the SD 42 interchange.
UPDATE (6:35p.m.): The snarl appears to have cleared up, according to Google Traffic.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety says urges drivers to slow down, give emergency responders room to work and take alternate routes if possible.
The Highway Patrol is working the scene.
This is a developing story.
