SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The City of Sioux Falls says it has crews out sanding this morning’s slippery roads.
From the City Facebook page:
- Due to icy roads from the precipitation and temperature drop this morning, we have had 27 trucks out sanding emergency routes since 7 a.m. After emergency routes are cleared, our team will move into secondary routes and school zones.
The Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office also reports slick conditions and accidents on county roads from icy conditions.
KELO Radio’s Titan weather service says to expect snow showers in the Sioux Falls area until noon.
