SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police are investigating an assault on a man that appears tied to the social media platform Snapchat.
An 18-year-old Sioux Falls man met a woman he met on Snapchat in northwest Sioux Falls.
After she got in the car, another man got in the car’s backseat and started beating the driver.
The driver escaped with non-life threatening injuries.
The woman was unharmed.
Police remind you to be careful if you’re using social media to meet people you don’t know.
