BROOKINGS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The celebrity guest picker has been picked for the four-letter network’s College GameDay Live broadcast from Brookings Saturday.
Sports Analyst and Retired Indianapolis Colts Punter, Pat McAfee will do the honors.
Usually, the celebrity picker has a connection to the city or state where the show is broadcast, but it appears McAffee’s only connection to South Dakota is that he played with Adam Vinatieri for several years. Vinatieri is SDSU graduate.
McAfee posted a video of himself on Facebook, taking the phone call offering him the honor of the Game Day appearance.
Kelo Radio 1320 AM and 107.9 FM will broadcast the big clash between South Dakota State and North Dakota State beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday.
