SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Police arrest a Baltic man who authorities wounded after threatening people in a home in north Sioux Falls earlier this month.
After being released from the hospital today, police arrested 29-year-old Trent Matthew Wagner.
He’s charged with aggravated assault domestic. There could be further charges.
The Division of Criminal Investigation is still investigating the officer-involved shooting.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: On October 6, 2019, a man with a gun threatened people at a home near North 8th Avenue and East Hermosa Drive. Officers found the suspect at a nearby home and there was a short foot pursuit. The suspect displayed a handgun and an officer discharged his weapon striking the suspect. The suspect was taken to a hospital for treatment.
On Thursday, October 24, 2019, Trent Mathew Wagner, a 29 year old man from Baltic, was released from the hospital. He was arrested for Aggravated Assault Domestic and taken to jail. The charges are related to the initial police call where people were threatened with the handgun.
The Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating the officer involved shooting. The Minnehaha County State’s Attorney Office will determine if any additional charges are warranted.
