SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls:
Monday night and much of Tuesday will be quite windy across the area, with northwest winds averaging 25 to 35 mph, and frequent gusts of 40 to 55 mph.
The strongest wind gusts are expected to occur between 7 pm Monday evening and 6 am Tuesday morning, but even part of Tuesday afternoon could see gusts around 40 mph.
These winds will make driving or working outside difficult to dangerous, especially since scattered rain showers will accompany the winds.
