HURON, S.D. (KELO.com) — Huron city attorney Jeff Banks is facing charges of driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and hit and run.
The incident happened Thursday morning in Huron. Banks was released on bond.
Beadle County State’s Attorney Mike Moore says the case has been referred to the S.D. Attorney General’s office.
Moore said the matter will still be decided in Beadle County.
Huron Mayor Paul Aylward says the city has no comment at this time.
