SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls’ forecast:
One more day of warmth is forecast before big changes come to the region.
Rain chances increase this evening, with a few thunderstorms possible tonight. Winds will be strong gusting 35 to 45 mph throughout the week’s end.
Thursday into Thursday night will bring a switch over to snow as a cold front pushes in from the west.
Although chances for accumulating snow are focused on the Thursday night into Friday timeframe, light snow remains possible into the early weekend.
Those traveling north or west of the Sioux Falls area will want to pay close attention to the forecast in the coming days.
