SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
Sertoma Avenue is now Open
Beginning on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, South Sertoma Avenue between 41st Street and 57th Street will be reopened to traffic.
Periodic work may occur over the next couple of weeks to complete miscellaneous construction along the street. However, at least one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times.
Intersection Closure –
Tenth Street and West Avenue
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2019, West Tenth Street will be closed to the west of West Avenue and West Avenue will be closed to the south of West Tenth Street. Detours will be established for Tenth Street and West Avenue traffic as well as for pedestrians.
Ellis and Eastern Railroad along with City of Sioux Falls Public Works will be performing repairs to railroad crossings at the intersection.
This work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the day on October 22, 2019.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
