SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The City of Sioux Falls is trumpeting a big milestone for the OneLink mobile App.
It’s the free app you can use to report potholes, code violations, and other concerns.
They’ve just gone over 10,000 service requests fulfilled through the new app.
Mayor Paul TenHaken tweets that “when technology, innovation, and service delivery converge, it’s a beautiful thing.”
The City launched OneLink in late February 2019.
“The benefits of the app became apparent right away for our team,” says Kristin Lobien, Street Logistics Specialist. “In 2018, we received a total of 2,858 pothole reports. So far in 2019, our team has received over 6,000 pothole reports.”
Using the OneLink app, you can even upload a photo of the pothole or graffiti or whatnot to make the problem clearer to the city.
And there is a place where you can give the city a ‘high five’ if you think they’ve done a good job.
The app is available for free for Apple and Android devices. Search for “City of Sioux Falls” in Google Play or Apple App Store.
